Jim called Seahawk, a bottom paint company, they recommended a bottom paint for the conditions we cruise in. Maybe give them a call.

I have ordered a Ranger R25. Should see it in November. Plan on using it in Florida as well as in the Bahamas for up to 3 months. Most of the summer it will spend its time on a trailer.
My question is what bottom paint do you recommend? And how often do you reapply.

As I was returning to Charlevoix marina (and it’s live music tonight) I gave you two a shoutout. I was in the little blue sailboat. I’ve been reading your blog for some time and have been eyeing your anchorage and boat all day. I’m on D dock with a view of a nice blue Cutwater next to the bandshell.
I’ve been eyeing Ranger tugs for a couple years and thought it was pretty cool to run across your boat today.

I love your posted images and your content is embracing my interest. Fact is, my wife and I have just sold our business and found A place to live but I am bored out of my tree, but mt wife seems happy. We are retired sailors who have enjoyed destination cruising and have sold our previous boat, a Hunter 355. I think I am ready to rejoin the cruising, live aboard fleet, at age 78, but, frankly, am unsure how to raise the issue among us. I would enjoy treading your pros and cons, if they are racked up someplace.
