Looks like you had a wonderful time! Such a beautiful area at the Benjamins, Bay of Islands,Whitefish Falls, Little Current, Killarny, Covered Portage Cove, and more! Been traveling up that way my whole life as my family before me and now my children as well!

I came across your site from a boating magazine (BoatUS?!) and have really enjoyed following your ‘trip’ to date. We have been to some of the places you’ve written about: Friday Harbor on our way to the Anacortes TrawlerFest; Florida because that’s where we grew up and boat,… We used Labor Day (2011) and traveled from our place in Chicago to explore Michigan’s west coast starting in Traverse City. What a great town to visit. I look forward to reading more from you. Thanks for sharing.
